Puzzles & Pints at Sobel’s Obscure Brewery: May 2026

Just like roaming gnomes, jigsaw races travel around the region looking for the best puzzlers. Tonight, the gnomes at Sobel’s Obscure Brewery have scheduled a Puzzles and Pints event to satisfy lovers of jigsaw puzzles and craft beer. Join in the head-to-head competition with your team to assemble a 500-piece jigsaw puzzle the fastest.

Form a team of up to 4 players and enjoy the one of the largest craft draft lists in all of Westmoreland County.

Check-in and food service begins at 6:00pm. Race begins at 6:30pm.
Out of respect of our venues, no outside drink is permitted.

Tickets

The $10 per-player admission includes a factory-sealed team puzzle, pizza to enjoy pre-race and eligibility for prizes. Tickets are available online via the ticketing page until noon on the day of the event.

An automatic waiting list will enable if table capacity is met, so interested puzzlers can be notified of cancellations.
Walk-in availability is not guaranteed.

Competition Details

• Teams of up to 4 people can register to compete for speed assembling a jigsaw puzzle.
• Events typically feature only one or two puzzle designs spread evenly across all teams, depending on the number of tables RSVP’d.
• Puzzles will be randomly drawn upon the start of the competition.
• Prizes are awarded to the fastest finishing teams per design.
• Prizes include 60 Minute Missions gift cards, large jigsaw puzzles and Sobel’s gift cards/merchandise.
• Puzzles and Pints occur on location at brewery venues throughout southwestern PA and not at the escape room.
