How much does it cost?
Jigsaw race admission is priced per person or per team. Usually $10 per person for flagship events like Puzzles & Pints or Puzzles & Pinot. As special event themes or fundraisers are added, the price of those events
How long does the event last?
Events allow a set amount of time for the team to try to complete the puzzle. Most events are limited to 2 hours and 30 minutes of puzzling. Even after the top teams finish, the rest of the racers can continue puzzling to completion.
Do I have to pay for beer & wine?
Ultimately, yes. It is common for the host winery or brewery to offer tasting samples of their products. The event ticket price does not include the paid sampling. The purchase and consumption of beverages are the responsibility of the attendee.

What time should I arrive?
You can arrive and check-in 30 minutes before race time. The timed event will start at the advertised time with some general instructions and immediately begin the race. If you arrive late you can join in the competition in progress.
How does the waiting list work?
If the event reaches capacity, a waiting list will form which can be joined for free. If the number of seats in your team become available, the system will automatically email ALL emails on the waiting list at once and fill in the order. The available spaces are first-come, first-serve.
How big is the puzzle?
Puzzles are usually 500-piece puzzles from a high-quality national brand, like MasterPieces or Buffalo.
Can I bring puzzling supplies?
Serious teams have been known to bring puzzle sorters, mats, spatulas, headlamps and other tricks. The use of these items is optional but does often intimidate the surrounding teams.
Do I have to compete?
No. You can just enjoy socializing with your team and use the allotted time to try to complete the puzzle.
What is included in the event admission?
Included in admission is the competition jigsaw puzzle and often a small meal (usually pizza). The team gets to keep the puzzle at the end of the competition, because an open puzzle cannot be reused at another event.
